Mapping Out the Yanks' Upcoming Schedule
Today begins a crucial two-week stretch for the Yankees, one which will likely
determine their goals for the season. Today in the Daily News, we look at the
upcoming stretch against the White Sox, Mets, Red Sox and Angels.

I’d say the Yankees need to go at least 7-5 in this stretch to keep
themselves in the AL East picture. That would be winning three of the four
series, which is a tall task. But seeing how they’ve been pitching for the
past two weeks, it’s certainly a possibility.

Of course, the offense needs to wake up, which means that Abreu, Cano and
Giambi need to figure out what’s ailing them and fix it. If they depend on
Jeter, Posada and A-Rod every day, they’re going to have problems.
當然 沉睡的打線也必須醒過來 也就是說 阿布 小Q以及大吉需要找到低潮的原因
並且搞定他 如果他們每天只依賴Jeter Posada 和A-Rod  會有問題

I just saw a stat on TV that the Red Sox are only the ninth team ever to lead
their division by eight games on May 15, and seven of them went on to win
their divisions that year. Are the Yankees in good shape right now? No way.
Is it over? No way.
我剛在電視看到一項統計 紅襪是第九支 在5/15以前 以八場勝差領先的隊伍
其中七支隊伍贏得該年的分區冠軍 現在洋基的狀況好嗎? 切~~

Let’s not forget that the wild card is still out there, too. The Yanks enter
today trailing the Indians by 4.5 games. Hardly an insurmountable lead. I
know many Yankees fans are disgusted by the idea of going for the wild card,
but let’s not forget that several teams in recent years have gone from wild
card to world champs. Get to the postseason and anything can happen.
別忘了外卡 洋基落後印地安人隊4.5場  很難說是絕對領先
我知道很多洋基迷對於拿外卡的想法感到厭惡
但別忘記最近很多外卡球隊最後拿到世界冠軍 只要進到季後賽 什麼事都可能發生

The guess here is that the upcoming series go as follows:
接下來的系列賽 我的猜測如下:

White Sox: Yanks win 2 of 3

Mets: Yanks lose 2 of 3

Red Sox: Yanks win 2 of 3

Angels: Yanks win 2 of 3

That would put the Yankees back at .500. From there, they’ll need to feast
on the ailing Blue Jays before heading to Boston for another big showdown. By
June 3, the last day of the Fenway series, we’ll have a much better idea
where the Yankees are headed this season.
這會讓洋基勝率重回五成 而且在到波士頓前 他們要修理搖搖欲墜的藍鳥
6/3 芬威系列賽的最後一場  我們會對洋基本季的命運有比較好的了解
