Red Sox 7, Yankees 3 Yankees Stumble and Lose Momentum By TYLER KEPNER Published: May 23, 2007 INSIDE PITCH Jason Giambi will meet with representatives of the commissioner’s office soon to discuss his comments about steroids in USA Today last Friday. Major League Baseball is compelled to investigate the matter, if only for the sake of appearances, but it is unlikely to be pursued very far. The Yankees are waiting for baseball’s meeting with Giambi before deciding whether to pursue voiding the rest of his seven-year, $120 million deal, which expires after next season. That possibility seems remote, as does the notion of Giambi ever accepting a trade. Asked yesterday if he would allow the Yankees to trade him, Giambi said he had no desire to go anywhere. “I’m a Yankee,” he said. “This is all news to me. It’s kind of fun to read. I never have asked for it.” 大吉表示他哪裡都不想去。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.229.6.152
