Chien-Ming Wang's last start was his shortest of the season. But he still
won. Wang gave up three runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings in the Yankees'
9-5 victory over Boston on June 1, the first time he was unable to go six
innings this season. Wang has recorded a decision in all eight of his
starts, including a seven-inning gem against the White Sox on May 16 in
the second game of a doubleheader.

小王上一場先發是他本季以來局數最短的.但他還是漂亮的贏得比賽.上次
6/1號的先發,5 2/3局的投球中,被打了10支安打,卻把失分控制在三分.終場洋基
就已9-5大勝波士頓襪襪隊.這也是小王本季第一場投不到第六局的比賽.

Wang gave up one run, six hits and a walk in the 8-1 victory. The
Yankees need him to duplicate that workload just as much as the final
result. And they could use a winning streak. The Yankees haven't won two
in a row since May 20-21, against the Mets.

那場比賽,小王7局挨了6支安打,不小心的投出了一個保送,但從頭到尾只失一分.讓
洋基以8-1懸殊的比數拿下勝利.目前的洋基相當需要小王再一次的完美演出,以開啟

The White Sox have split against a pair of rookie starters so far,
beating Matt DeSalvo, who is already back in Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre,
and falling to Tyler Clippard on Tuesday. Wang is decidedly more experienced.

白襪前兩戰對上的都是洋基菜鳥.第一場對上的馬特.迪沙佛已經跟大聯盟說"掰掰 掰掰"
了,目前被下放到洋基3A...第二場在星期二先發的泰勒.可麗怕德也是初生之犢.
(至於怕不怕虎嘛?嘿嘿,似乎是不怕喔)小王相對於這兩個年輕人,真是有經驗多了呢!

"The pitcher has to set the pace and tone for our being consistent," Torre
said. "We came into the first two games here with two kids, and we got
a win in the second game. Now we have more experience going."

The Yankees also get to face another right-handed starter in Javier
Vazquez, and they've hit righties pretty well this season. Eighteen
of Alex Rodriguez's 21 homers have come against right-handers and
White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen knows A-Rod will be swinging for the
fences against the former Yankees hurler.

洋基將碰上的是右投手哈費兒.罰茲奎茲.而且打擊群們這季對上右投們是個個
棒子發燙阿.阿肉目前21支全壘打中,有18支是可憐的右投手們噴給他的.白襪經理
歐姬.吉林知道阿肉一定會全力揮擊這位前洋基右投手的球的.

"He has [21] home runs, and we are still in June. I have 22 home runs
in 25 years of playing the game," White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen cracked.
 "He's a good player, and that's what happens. When you are good, that's
the hit you are going to take."

Pitching matchup
NYY: RHP Chien-Ming Wang (4-4, 4.19 ERA)
Wang has won three of four, with two wins against the Red Sox and one against
the White Sox. He hasn't given up a home run in his last five starts, a span
of 34 innings.

投手資料

洋基:右投手 王建民 (4-4, 4.19 ERA)
小王最近四場先發贏了三場,大頭鬼分別是紅襪(兩場)白襪(一場).
(跟襪子這麼有緣,可以找他代言阿!不過耐不耐穿,容不容易破可不敢保證XDD)
最近5場先發,34局的投球中還沒有人能把他的球打過全壘打大牆.

CWS: RHP Javier Vazquez (3-3, 3.95 ERA)
The former Yankees right-hander gets another crack at his old team.
Vazquez is 1-2 with a 5.00 ERA, with 18 strikeouts in 18 innings against
the Bombers. He hasn't pitched against the Yankees this year and is
coming off an eight-inning scoreless outing on June 1 at Toronto. He is
1-2 with a 4.26 ERA at home.

白襪:右投手 哈費兒.罰茲奎茲 (3-3, 3.95 ERA)
這位前洋基人的右投生涯,對上老東家鑽石打線一共18局的投球,送出了18K.不過只有
1勝兩敗,防禦率5.00的成績.這一季他還未對上過洋基隊.上一場他對藍鳥投出了8局
無失分的佳作.主場防禦率是 1-2, 4.26的 ERA.

Johnny Damon needs a repeat performance of his three-hit game on Tuesday
to keep sparking this Yankees offense. Damon's double led off the four-run
sixth that broke the game open.
