Pirates:

Maholm allowed only two runs (one earned) on five hits and no walks
in the first six innings of his last outing on Monday.
But he ran into trouble in the seventh when he gave up three earned
runs on three hits and a walk and ended up taking the loss to drop his
record to 2-8.

Maholm 週一對上道奇出賽，前六局投的相當出色。只被敲出五支安打丟掉兩分
(一分是自責分)，但是到了第七局卻遇到大麻煩，被敲出三支安打送出一次保送
丟掉了三分，苦吞敗投，讓他本季累積戰績二勝八負

Yankees: The Yankees will try for a second run at a Rocket relaunch on
Saturday as Roger Clemens attempts to make his first start of the season
for New York. The Yankees had expected Clemens to debut earlier in the
week at Chicago, but scar tissue in his right groin prompted Clemens to
remove himself from the start. Clemens worked out in Tampa, Fla.
in preparation for the start and watched as rookie Matt DeSalvo was
reinserted, then removed, from the Yankee rotation.
The seven-time Cy Young Award winner
will be making his first start for the Yankees since Game 4 of the 2003
World Series.

這週六(台灣時間星期日凌晨一點)火箭人將要嘗試第二度升空，也是這個球季
火箭人回到洋基主投的第一場
原本洋基是計劃在對上芝加哥白襪四連戰就要讓火箭升空卻因為鼠谿部疼痛的關係
讓這場火箭升空計畫延後了。火箭人重回位於佛羅里達的坦帕基地練習，也看著菜鳥投手
Matt DeSalvo被拉上來頂替他先發卻又無法站穩先發的位置
火箭人這場出賽將是繼2003年世界大賽(=.=)第四戰之後 首次為洋基先發出賽
