Right now it seems the best thing that the Yankees have going for them is
their schedule, which easily ranks as the easiest among the handful of teams
that will be fighting for the American League Wild Card.

chance to help them out, and Aaron Small and Shawn Chacon became their saviors.

an addition by subtraction to the bullpen, but as bad as he's been, he's not
exactly the reason they're 36-37.

Phil Hughes in a deal for Teixeira, but are they willing to part with one for
their secondary pitching prospects such as Ian Kennedy or Joba Chamberlain? Is
that worth it?

more remarkable when you consider their schedule was cut to only 145 games
