Chamberlain lights out in Scranton

Joba Chamberlain made his bullpen debut today and it was impressive as
he struck out the side in the seventh inning against Rochester.

13 pitches, 10 strikes, touched 99 with his heater.

By the way, it’s Ja-Buh, not Joe-Ba. Make sure you pronounce it right
because he could be in pinstripes by the weekend.

Meanwhile, despite the unsourced and unconfirmed reports you may be
seeing elsewhere, there is no deal yet for Eric Gagne. I’m not saying
a deal isn’t out there to be made, but team officials say there is nothing
done.
