火熱的夜晚 加上 火熱的先發 結果叫作輸球
(hot starter應該是指金鶯先發投手)

The Yankees ran into a hot starter tonight. Jeremy Guthrie’s ERA of 2.89 is
second in the American League and he was throwing his two-seam sinking
fastball at 97 mph. That’s why the Yankees grounded into 11 outs against him.

金鶯先發投手Jeremy Guthrie是美聯防禦排行大老二
他的二縫線下沉球有到靠北的97麥 讓洋基吃了很多苦

Andy Pettitte wasn’t awful but he again told us tonight how he doesn’t feel
right on the mound. It’s a refrain he has been going to for five or six
starts now. His command is off, he said, it’s nothing physical.

佩佩投的雖不太糟 但是他今晚的表現  讓我們感覺到  投手丘上的他 還是不夠舒服

Scott Proctor is another story. That’s four homers in his last five
appearances. He has allowed eight homers in 54.1 innings. He looks like a guy
who is worried about being traded, which perhaps he should be.

天天P又有故事可講了 他看起來就像一直在擔心會被交易 事實上 這也是有可能會花生

will make a move for offensive help and a reliever before the deadline.
Depending who you ask, you hear different names.

他們都還是認為  洋基在交易截止日前  針對進攻跟救援投手方面會有動作
