不過 Bruney 至少還有球隊可打。Cairo被DFA，而且很有可能會被釋出。他繞了一會跟
隊友們擁抱，然後在他的衣櫃前站定，談在洋基打球對他的意義。

: “It’s hard because I’ve been here three years and it’s a good group of
: people. The coaches are unbelievable and there’s a good manager. For me,
: it was an honor to be here,” he said.

他說：「是很難過啦，畢竟我在這已經三年了，何況這群傢伙都不賴。教練們也超好。
對我來說，能在洋基打過球，是我的光榮。」

: Bruney is only 25, so let’s give him a pass. But it’s too bad he wasn’t
: around to see how Cairo handled himself.

 Bruney只有25歲，可以諒解，只不過他沒看到 Cairo 怎麼控制自己的情感實在
很可惜。

: As for Cairo, it made sense that he was the one to go. But I’m not sure the
: Yankees are a half-game out of the wild card race without him. Back in June,
: when the only other choice at first base was Josh Phelps, he filled in
: admirably.
: 另外是他寫的另一小段有關今天A-Rod在一壘的第二次衝突時發生啥事
: Towers狠狠地批評一壘教練Pena：
: Towers vs. Pena: Josh Towers and Yankees first-base coach Tony Pena
: exchanged words after the Toronto pitcher hit Alex Rodriguez with a pitch
: in the third inning.

在第3局藍鳥投手Towers 砸了A-Rod後，Towers 和 Pena 曾經相互叫罵了一番。

: It started a second clearing of the benches.

這引起第二次的騷動，大家都衝出來。

: "I heard somebody chirping and I didn't think it was Alex," Towers said.
: "I asked who it was and Tony Pena is running his mouth. ... He's a quitter.
: He was managing (the Royals in 2005) and he quit in the middle of a season
: because he couldn't hack it."

「我聽到有人在那邊碎碎念，我不認為是A-Rod，」Towers說：「我問他講啥，他還在
罵些五四三.....他根本就是個輕易放棄工作不負責人的人，他曾當過教頭但他竟然在
季中辭職落跑，因為他根本沒擔當。」

: Said Pena: "I don't care, I have no comment. Let him talk."

Pena的回應：「不在乎，沒啥好評論的，讓他去說。」
