Towers continues running mouth
掏兒．西恩潘  他的碎嘴沒有休止符

Why is it that the most mediocre major league pitchers always run their
mouths the most. This Winter, the immortal John Thomson - yes the replacement
level pitcher who’s floated around MLB organizations his entire career -
explained that he chose to pitch for Toronto over the New York Mets because
he thought Paul Lo Duca was a loser, and Gregg Zaun wasn’t. (Thomson is
currently pitching for the Royals AAA-affiliate)

沒錯 就是那個終其一生在大聯盟載浮載沉的投手
他說他選擇到多倫多打球 而不到紐約大都會 因為他認為Paul Lo Duca是個輸家
而Gregg Zaun不是 (補充：Thomson最近人在皇家三Ａ投球)


Last night’s “brawl” began when Josh Towers threw a fastball at Alex
Rodriguez, hitting him just below his knee. The pitch was obviously
intentional, and A-Rod justifiably took offense. After all, Toronto took
their shot at revenge for the HA incident yesterday, but the result was a
fastball that whizzed behind Rodriguez’s thigh. Most managers would
understand that their target may not have been hit, but the message had been
sent. Going back at A-Rod for a second time was excessive and bush league. It
also exhibits Towers for who he really is: an unimpressive replacement
pitcher who cannot beat the Yankees. His career record against New York is
now an abysmal 2-9.

昨晚的一陣"大亂鬥"
起因於掏兒向阿肉膝蓋下面丟了顆快速球
這次投球很明顯是"刁肛"的
而阿肉也理所當然的反擊
用一顆掃過阿肉大腿的快速球  多倫多藍鳥隊終究為了昨天的事件報了一箭之仇
昨天Litsch丟那個快速球雖然沒有擊中 但是球隊也都被警告過了
今天在發生同樣的事 只會讓大聯盟淪為二流水準的地方
他們今天的目標雖沒有被實際擊中(眾鳥群："殘念") 但報復的意思到了

這件故事告訴我們一件事：
掏兒．西恩潘只不過是一個不引人注目 容易被替代的投手
然後被洋基以9比2擊敗 就這樣而已


Instead of taking the high road and keeping his mouth shut, Towers played
coy, plead his innocence and disrespected a member of the Yankees coaching
staff:

一反高調和碎嘴的風格 西恩潘扭扭捏捏的為自己的清白辯護 也輕視洋基的教練說：

“I didn’t expect much after I hit him,” said Towers. “I was caught
off-guard a little bit, ball got away and then he came after me. I just asked
him to go to first base….Those guys ran their mouth a little bit and they
came out pretty forceful and our guys stood up right to them.

“I heard somebody chirping when I was talking to Lyle (Overbay) and I didn’
t think it was Alex and I asked who it was,” said Towers. “And Tony Pena is
running his mouth and I was like, ‘What’s this guy running his mouth for?
This dude is a quitter, he managed a team and quit in the middle of the
season because he couldn’t hack it. He’s going to run his mouth to me?”

我認為那不是阿肉
我就問：系瞎郎啦? 我看到Pena嘴巴動個沒停
我心想：他是在靠腰什麼啦?
這個人沒擔當 他帶一支球隊 卻在季中烙跑 因為他沒那個屁股
而他現在竟然敢跟我講一些五四三
