Well, at least A-Rod can run

The goal was to tell you whether the best player in baseball feels he can
play against Cleveland on Friday night.
主要是告訴大家 棒球界最好的球員感覺星期五他可以上場對印地安人

But Alex Rodriguez didn’t want to say.
但阿肉不想發言

Rodriguez was in the clubhouse when we arrived after the game, having
received treatment on his bruised left calf during the game.
當我們賽後來到球員休息室 他已經在球賽期間接受左(右?)小腿的治療

After we interviewed Torre, Chien-Ming Wang and Bobby Abreu, Rodriguez was
spotted near his locker. Asked whether he thought he could play on Friday,
Rodriguez loudly cleared his throat but didn’t say anything before going in
the shower.
在我們訪問完老托 王建民和阿布之後 阿肉出現在他的置物櫃
問他星期五是否會上場 他大聲清了清喉嚨 就去淋浴

OK. So we waited in the hallway outside the clubhouse. Rodriguez emerged
again but walked right past a group of 10 reporters to the door.

“How’s your leg,” somebody shouted.
有人大聲問"你的腿如何"

“Sore,” he said.
"酸"他回答

At that point, Rodriguez literally ran toward a waiting limo. Like many
players, he is spending the day off at home, not in Cleveland.
阿肉跑向大禮車 要回家休假 不是在克里夫蘭

So there you have it. He’s “sore” but he can run.
所以 大家知道啦 他感覺酸 但他可以跑....

Sorry, no audio tonight. Nobody really had much to say.
抱歉今晚沒有訪問錄音 沒人要說什麼

For Chien-Ming Wang, it was the shortest start of his career and the most
runs he has allowed. He said it was his worst start since 2004 when he gave
up 10 runs in one inning while pitching for Class AA Trenton.
這是王建民大聯盟生涯先發局數最短 丟最多分的比賽
他說這是2004年在2A 一局丟十分之後 最差的表現

Wang, Joe Torre and Ron Guidry all said that his poor performance was not the
result of any injury.
小王 老托 老古都說 表現差跟任何受傷都無關(**好險 沒事就好**)

“He just got his ass kicked,” Torre said.
老托說 "他剛被打屁股"

With Detroit losing, the Yankees remain a half-game out in a tight wild-card
race.
