   卻不是Posada要的球路(Abraham評論：畢竟投球的是投手不是捕手), 這小鬼還真
   大膽。
7. 投球指導員Nardi Contreras說，"張伯倫在小聯盟便是"小朋友中的真男人"("man among
   boys"), 他跟我們送上去的人都完全不同。"

TORONTO -- Ten weeks after the Alex Rodriguez 'Ha!' incident, the Blue Jays
exacted their revenge.

Drilled in the left leg by a third-inning Josh Towers fastball, A-Rod stepped
angrily toward the mound and started the first of two bench-clearing
incidents on Tuesday night. In the seventh, Roger Clemens -- pitching a
two-hitter -- risked suspension for nailing Alex Rios in retaliation.

And for a short time, the Yankees' seven-run lead was in some jeopardy --
until Bobby Abreu collected his third and fourth RBI of the night, and Joba
Chamberlain made the scene at Rogers Centre.

In his highly anticipated major league debut, Chamberlain entered in the
eighth inning -- hitting 99 mph with his fastball and 88 mph with his slider
-- to cement an emotionally charged 9-2 Yankees victory.

"I'm going to take full advantage of the chances I have," said Chamberlain,
21. The right-hander threw two scoreless innings, but was surprised that his
nervous anticipation carried into the game.

Though Rodriguez (0-for-4) claimed to be caught off guard by Toronto's
actions, he was elated with his teammates' response. "They were fired up,"
said Rodriguez, who left after eight innings with a bruised left calf and is
questionable for tonight. "Right now, we're 25 guys playing as one. We looked
like a football team out there.

"I'm glad we won two games [here]," A-Rod said. "Anything we can use as
motivation...we're not going to let any distractions get in our way."

After Abreu's RBI triple made it 1-0, Rodriguez -- who saw a Jesse Litsch
fastball go behind him in his first at-bat in Toronto on Monday -- was nailed
by Towers' first pitch.

As Rodriguez slowly walked toward the mound and said something, Towers
motioned that A-Rod take his base, and both benches and bullpens cleared.
After order had been restored, Yankees first base coach Tony Pena apparently
told Towers to, in effect, "get somebody out," which sparked another bench
clearer.

In that instance, Towers admitted his ire was directed solely at Pena for
"running his mouth," and added an insult about Pena's short term as Kansas
City Royals manager. "He quit in the middle of a season because he couldn't
hack it," Towers said.

When play resumed, Rodriguez scored on Jorge Posada's two-run double, and the
Yanks (63-50) were headed toward their fifth straight win, remaining a
half-game back in the AL wild card race.

As further compensation for A-Rod's pain, Shelley Duncan took out shortstop
John McDonald so hard that the glove went flying off his hand, but McDonald
shook it off.

"We have to protect Alex," Johnny Damon said. "He's our star player. He's the
reason we're where we are right now."

No punches were thrown during the mixer, and no ejections were made until
Clemens drilled Rios in the back with the second pitch of the seventh inning.
The Yankees had a 7-0 lead, and Clemens was automatically ejected [warnings
had been issued] along with manager Joe Torre.

"It's confusing to me," Torre said of Toronto's redemption, since nothing
happened during the Jays-Yanks four-game Bronx series in July. But the Jays
were steaming mad when Rodriguez screamed behind an infielder, leading to a
dropped pop-up on May 30 -- a play Blue Jaysmanager John Gibbons referred to
then as "Little League."

Clemens (4-5) didn't exit until he'd chewed out home plate umpire Angel
Hernandez. "I had something to get off my chest, and I did," said Clemens,
who still finished his best game as a Yankee this year -- with a sharp
splitter that completely erased the memory of his last start.

Last Thursday, the White Sox tagged him for nine runs (eight earned) in just
12/3 innings, Clemens' shortest start since the 2000 season.

"There's still things in my delivery that I feel I can clean up," said
Clemens, who yielded two singles, one walk, and had six strikeouts. As for
the possibility of a suspension, "I hope not," Clemens said. "It is what it
is."

After throwing two warm-up pitches to the backstop, Chamberlain fell behind
before striking out his first batter, Ray Olmedo, on a sharp slider (shaking
off Posada). Vernon Wells flied out with two men on to end the inning, and
Chamberlain had two walks and two strikeouts over the final two innings,
completing his debut by inducing a double play grounder.

"In the minors, Chamberlain was "a man among boys," said pitching instructor
Nardi Contreras, who accompanied Chamberlain to Toronto. "He's all together
different from anybody else we've brought up."
