不知道有沒有op 原文http://kuso.cc/2Cxn Q: One hitter you look forward to facing? A: David Ortiz. He always comes up with big hits and is a tough out. Q: How would you describe your mound temperament? A: Very focused, very competitive, fierce, not ever giving in. Q: Fierce in what way? A: Lower my hat, get the ball, go to work. Q: Would you say you’re fearless? A: Yeah. Q: What’s it like hitting 100 mph on the radar gun? A: It feels good. I’d rather throw it hard and have an idea where it’s going. Q: What’s it like when you feel dominant out there? A: A feeling you can’t describe. To know somebody 60 feet, six inches away wants to hit the ball as hard as he can right back at you. Maybe I got something you can’t hit. Q: Switching to the bullpen? A: Any way I can help is something I’m willing to try. It’s been fun my last couple of outings. Q: Your father [Harlan] is paralyzed on the left side from polio and raised you and your sister as a single parent. A: Not one day in my 20 years has he complained about anything. He does everything everybody else does and has just enjoyed life. Q: He’d play catch with you even though he was wheelchair-bound. A: He caught and threw with the same hand. Q: What did you do with your $1.1 million signing bonus? A: What makes this so satisfying for me is to be able to call him and, if he wants something, to be able to provide it for him. Q: What is your [15-month-old] son Karter like? A: If you’re having a rough one and you go home, he brightens up your day. When you see him run to you and smile and give him a hug, it’s the best thing. Q: Are you married? A: No. I’ve got a girlfriend. Q: She takes care of Karter? A: Back in Lincoln [Nebraska]. Q: You’ve been to Yankee Stadium? A: I saw it [Wednesday]. I was in New York to get a passport. I got to walk around a little bit. I had goose bumps the whole time. Q: Did you see the monuments? A: I walked out to the bullpen and saw them. It’s something you can’t describe. It’s an honor being part of the Pinstripes. Q: What advice did Roger Clemens give you? A: Be yourself. Take care of your body. Work hard. Q: You and Phil Hughes have different personalities. A: Phil’s more quiet, kind of a laid-back guy. I’m an animated, funny guy. I don’t take life too seriously. You never know when this thing can be taken away from you. Q: Favorite comedian? A: Jamie Foxx. Q: What New York things do you want to see? A: Radio City Music Hall. I’m a big music guy. My dad sang at weddings. I sang in high school. Music is an expression of people’s self. Q: What do you sing? A: Ballads . . . pretty much anything. Q: Ever want to be a singer? A: No. I just did it for fun. Q: What do you know about the Winnebago tribe? A: My uncle [Keith] and aunt [Lisa] still live on the reservation. Q: Where is it located? A: Two hours north of Lincoln, 20 minutes south of the South Dakota border. Q: How proud are you of your heritage? A: Very proud. To be able to have kids on the reservation who know there is a chance. You have to be patient and work hard and somebody will notice. Q: Boyhood idol? A: Chipper Jones. Q: One of your prized possessions was a Bomber jacket. A: I thought if you didn’t have one, you weren’t a cool kid. I got a North Carolina Bomber jacket and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Q: Watching Nebraska football in Lincoln? A: Unbelievable is the only word to describe it. The whole state shuts down on football Saturdays. Just to see so much red in the place . . . you can literally feel your feet shaking. Q: Favorite Christmas? A: The first time I ever got a Sega Genesis. Q: How old were you? A: Eight or nine. And it was a white Christmas! Q: You worked in the maintenance department cleaning restrooms and grooming fields after high school. A: 7:30-to-4:30 every day. It’s something I had to do to take care of my family. Q: What did you make? A: Eight bucks an hour, maybe. It puts things in perspective, especially now doing the things I’m doing. I took a little different path than everybody else. Q: Three dinner guests. A: Martin Luther King; Babe Ruth; Roger Clemens. Q: Best piece advice from your father. A: Believe in yourself. Q: How often do you speak to him? A: Every day. Q: How often does he tell you to “knock ’em dead?” A: Every outing. “Go get ’em” or “Knock ’em dead.” Q: Favorite childhood memory? A: The first time being selected for a traveling baseball team when I was nine. Q: Favorite movie? A: “The Last Samurai.” Q: Favorite actor? A: Adam Sandler. Q: Favorite actress? A: Jessica Biel. (謎之聲...跟隊長搶嗎XDXD) Q: Favorite meal? A: Steak. Q: What drives you? A: My family. They’re first and foremost in my life. Q: What about the doubters who said you were too big? A: You always gotta play with a little chip on your shoulder. Without doubters, a lot of people wouldn’t be where they are today. Q: What would you like to say to Yankee fans? A: I’m gonna wear it on my sleeve. I’m gonna give it everything I got, day in and day out. -- http://www.wretch.cc/album/callmeelva -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 123.193.19.14
