Wang falters as Yanks drop Game 1
Fifth-inning rally overshadowed by Indian's five-run outburst

CLEVELAND -- Chien-Ming Wang had little command, and in the early results,
neither will the Yankees. New York fell behind the Cleveland Indians early
and couldn't recover, slogging through an underwhelming 12-3 defeat in Game 1
of the American League Division Series.

這一段講王在比賽一開始失去對比賽的掌握(洋基也是)
使得一開始就後而無法扳回，最後以12-3在ALDS第一戰中敗給了笑臉人

The game appeared to have early momentum in the Yankees' direction, as Johnny
Damon slugged a disputed home run to open the game and saw a reversed call
work in his favor, but any luck quickly turned as Wang, the Yankees' Game 1
starter in two consecutive playoff series, turned in one of his worst outings
of the season.

比賽一開始氣勢是在洋基這邊的。大門敲出一隻具有爭議性的HR
但是後來運氣就轉過笑臉人那兒  王第一局的表現可說是本季最差

The 27-year-old right-hander allowed eight runs and nine hits in a rocky 4
1/3-inning start, surrendering two home runs while walking four and striking
out two. The 19-game winner did little with the early lead, allowing three
runs in the bottom of the first as the Yankees were unable to regain the
advantage against AL Cy Young Award candidate C.C. Sabathia.

王在4又1/3局被敲出9安，失八分，2HR，4BB
第一局就失掉了三分，使得洋基再也無法取回對CC的優勢


With former Yankees outfielder Kenny Lofton in the middle of a memorable
three-hit, four-RBI evening, the Yankees' pitching came completely unraveled
in a five-run fifth inning. Victor Martinez blasted a two-run homer off Wang
with one out in the fifth to increase Cleveland's advantage to 6-3, slugging
the first pitch of his at-bat over the wall in right-center field.

今晚前洋基選手Lofton3安打，4打點
洋基投手在第五局失五分的情形下，完全瓦解
(雖然只待一年，還是被提出來了啦…Orz)
Victor Martinez第一球就撈出了中右外野的2分砲，使得笑臉人的優勢擴大到6-3

Jhonny Peralta stroked a broken-bat double to right, and Lofton followed by
shooting Wang's 94th and final pitch up the middle for an RBI single. Casey
Blake later popped a two-run double down the right-field line off rookie Ross
Ohlendorf, opening up a six-run Indians lead. Travis Hafner also reached
Ohlendorf for a solo home run in the sixth.

Jhonny Peralta跟了一隻2壘安打，Lofton瞄準了王的第94球把他打下場
並取得一分打點 Blake再從Ohlendorf手中打出二分打點的二壘安打
使得笑臉人取得六分領先  Hafner在Ohlendorf手中再擊出一隻陽春砲

The Yankees touched Sabathia for three
runs in five innings, but they missed numerous opportunities. After Damon's
home run -- his second career leadoff homer in the postseason -- and Robinson
Cano's fourth-inning solo shot, the Yankees could not take advantage of the
six walks (one intentional) that Sabathia issued in a 114-pitch outing; none
of the six batters scored.

反觀洋基在五局中從CC手中取得三分，但是錯失了許多的良機
在大門的陽春砲(生涯季後賽的第二隻leadoff)與Cano第四局的陽春砲後
洋基無法從Sabathia六次BB中取得優勢  六個打者都沒辦法得分

New York brought in an additional run on Bobby Abreu's opposite-field double
in the fifth to close to within one run, but it left the bases loaded as
Sabathia came back from a 3-0 count to strike out Jorge Posada and induced
Hideki Matsui to pop out, ending the inning and preserving the lead. The loss
was the fourth consecutive postseason defeat for the Yankees, who last won in
Game 1 of last season's ALDS against the Tigers before dropping the final
three games to bow out earlier than anticipated.

五局下在阿布反方向的二壘打下洋基再度取得一分
但是在3壞0好的情現下，CC接連三振了Posada並使松井打個小飛球結束維持領先
這場失敗也是洋基連續第四場在季後賽的失利(上一場就是小王打敗DET)

Rookie Phil Hughes made his first career relief appearance, entering in the
seventh inning and allowing one run on two hits, including a home run by Ryan
Garko with two outs in the eighth.

休斯第七局季後賽首次亮相  2安，失一分HR(被Garko在第八局揮出)
