: New York was preparing to offer Rodriguez a four- or five-year extension
: worth between $25 million and $30 million annually and had hoped to meet with
: A-Rod to present the offer.

  洋基準備提供給阿肉四到五年，年薪介於兩千五百萬到三千萬美金的延長合約，
  並且希望能夠跟阿肉見上一面，告訴他這份肥約 (看樣子對 Bora$ 來說一點都不
  肥)。

: "We expressed our interest in keeping him in pinstripes, and requested the

  不過現金人的語氣就好像是阿肉已經無望成為洋基人一樣。「過去四個球季，阿肉
  對於我們的勝利扮演著關鍵的角色，同時我也很感謝能有機會跟他一起打球。我只
  希望我們在他還是洋基球員的時候，能和他一起拿到世界大賽冠軍，這也是我們所
  一起共同追尋的終極目標啊。」
