: The only way the Yankees would bring back Alex Rodriguez is if Rodriguez
: became so desperate to stay that he would take a pay cut, something they do
: not envision. But Rodriguez has not eliminated the Yankees from consideration,
: and his agent, Scott Boras, said last night that he was still willing to meet
: with the team.

: agent during Game 4 of the World Series. Boras said then that Rodriguez would

: fired Boras, and there is no evidence he would do that. Further, said a

: hard-line stance about his opt-out decision and helped push him into the
: free-agent market.

洋基從來不相信會有球隊能夠給A-Rod更好的合約。

: was not suggesting the Yankees offer a Roger Clemens-style “family plan,”
: in which Pettitte could leave the team on the days he does not pitch, but he
: said the Yankees “can make sure that he gets plenty of family time.”
說Andy很有天分很有領導能力
他了解Andy想多花點時間陪陪老婆孩子。
小老闆說不見得會讓他有Roger在太空人的那種待遇
但他會盡量讓他有足夠的家庭時間
