Now it’s time to plot some revenge

Now that the New York Yankees have unearthed the David Ortiz jersey buried in
the floor of the new Yankee Stadium, it’s time to plot revenge on the Red
Sox.

Here’s a list of 10 items the Yankees should hide in Fenway Park. Oh, and
kudos to my buddy Rick for kicking me in the butt and making me write this.

‧The bat used by Bucky ‘Bleepin’ Dent to hit his 1978 playoff game home run.

‧For good measure, the bat used by Aaron ‘Bleepin’ Boone in 2003.

‧Carl Pavano. The Red Sox wanted him, the Yankees got him. Things haven’t
  been the same since.

‧A cake sat on by Sparky Lyle. Lyle, the great reliever the Sox foolishly
  traded to the Yankees for Danny Cater, was a famous prankster whose
  cake-sitting exploits were legendary.

‧A Babe Ruth Yankees’ jersey.

‧The glove Lou Piniella used to make his game-saving play in the 1978 playoff
  game.

‧A CD with John Sterling’s voice screaming ‘Yankees Win. THEEEEEEEE Yankees
  win!!

‧A Pedro Martinez ‘The Yankees are My Daddy’ t-shirt.

‧Kyle Farnsworth. Oh, and Kei Igawa, too. Because Yankee fans are generous.

‧Grady Little’s hat. Because he always brought the Yankees luck.

I’m sure there are a million more of these. Let’s hear your additions to
the list.

The Yankees should hide steroids in the visitors dugout for Giambi to take
before each game, so they get some productivity out of him.
