   Mariano Rivera滿壘沒上, 因為背部痙攣不舒服, 週一將再作評估是否可以上場。
Rivera原本是週五賽後感到酸痛, 週日在伸展時便感到不舒服, 他說以前從來沒有過這
種感覺, 但他認為一切都會沒事的, 他覺得不是什麼大問題, 不用太過擔心。

   唉! 如果MO真的出問題的話, 洋基恐怕要................Orz...

When Joe Girardi didn't go to closer Mariano Rivera with the bases loaded,
two outs, and a one-run lead in the top of the eighth, it raised a few
eyebrows.

After the game, Girardi's explanation wasn't very reassuring: Rivera was
suffering from a back spasm and was unavailable yesterday afternoon.

"He went out to play catch and he just wasn't right," Girardi said of the
closer, who is perfect in 26 save opportunities this season.

Rivera first felt the soreness after Friday's game, and after feeling it
again today before the game he checked in with the Yankees training staff.

"Today I was stretching, going out to throw and I felt discomfort in there,"
Rivera said. "So they decide to shut me down for a day."

Losing Rivera and his 1.49 ERA for any stretch would be brutal for the
Yankees. But Rivera said he'd never felt a problem like this before, and
insisted "everything's going to be fine." Girardi said he will be reevaluated
tomorrow in Texas.

"I don't think it's anything major," Rivera said. "I don't think it's nothing
I need to be concerned or worried about."
