比賽打擊練習前, 洋基將媒體請出球員休息室, 由Brian Cashman開了一個閉門的球隊
會議, 相當地不尋常。原以為是鼓舞士氣的會議, 或由Cashman帶來高層的訊息。但最後都
不是, Ed Price獲得的訊息是, 說明球員休息室該有的適當的行為。沒人清楚到底發生了
什麼事, 也沒有人願意談下去。
(這倒是令人想起了Ruben Rivera偷了Jeter手套的事情。)

UPDATE: The meeting was about appropriate behavior in the clubhouse, I'm
told. Nothing more. No pep talks.
The Yankees closed the clubhouse to media for a 10-minute team meeting before
batting practice. This likely is more than a first-day-of-a-series scouting
meeting, since the Yankees haven't had one since mid-August.
With just 19 games left, the Yankees are 8 1/2 games out of a playoff spot.
