以下是Chad Jennings現場看王建民出賽的詳細結果, 速球在90-92之間, 第五局時很多
速球可以跑到92, 特別值得注意的是第一局出現一個93miles的伸卡球, 本來球場的測速
槍都很準確, 但有一些球球速卻測到60幾, 所以不確定是不是真的球速。

May 12: Yankees vs. Charlotte

Top first: Five-pitch first inning for Chien-Ming Wang.

After a first-pitch strike, a weak groundout to the right side. Wang came off
the mound to make the play and flip to first.

First-pitch chop in front of the plate. Chris Stewart started the 2-3 putout.
After a called strike on a 93 mph sinker, Josh Kroeger flied out to deep
center field.

The PNC Field stadium radar is usually pretty accurate, but it's been spotty
tonight (had one pitch in the 60s) so I'm not sure about that 93 reading.
Could be accurate, I'm just not certain. Wang's last fastball of the inning
registered 90.


Top second: Ten pitches, five strikes in another 1-2-3 inning for Wang. His
fastball was 89-90 this inning.

First-pitch ball, then a groundout to third on a 90 mph fastball.
Full count that included some sliders. Got a strikeout on what looked like a
changeup.

First-pitch ball, then a flyout to left.


Top third: 12 pitches, eight strikes in another 1-2-3 inning. He was steady
at 91 with his fastball, touched 92.

Ahead 0-2, threw three straight balls before getting a called strike three
with a 92 mph fastball.
First-pitch popup to short.

Four-pitch strikeout, swinging strike three on a 91 mph fastball.


Top fourth: Wang was just hit in the left shin by a comebacker to the mound.
He was checked on the mound but stayed in the game and threw two more pitches
to get out of the inning. 13 pitches, seven strikes that inning.

Four-pitch walk to lead-off man Miguel Negron who was promptly caught
stealing by Chris Stewart.

First-pitch ball followed by three straight strikes. Strike three was looking
at a 91 mph fastball.

On a 1-1 pitch, Josh Kroeger lined a single off Wang.

First-pitch strike followed by a flyout to center.

Eric Wordekemper is getting loose in the bullpen. We'll see in a bit whether
Wang's night is over.


Top fifth: Wang's back out there. He hit 92 a few more times this inning. 20
pitches, 13 strikes.

Foul ball, then a groundout to second.

With a 2-1 count, sharp single to left field.

After a swinging first-pitch strike, Javier Castillo grounded a potential
double play ball to third. Justin Leone was slow to get the ball out of his
glove, and the Yankees had to settle for a 5-4 fielder's choice.

An 0-2 fastball was close to strike three but called a ball. Wang wound up
walking Cole Armstrong in an eight-pitch at-bat.

Four-pitch strikeout, with all three strikes coming on offspeed pitches.


Top sixth: 22 pitches, 11 strikes. Wang's at 82 pitches for the game and
Anthony Claggett is getting loose in the bullpen.

On a 2-1 pitch, Miguel Negron singled on a humpback liner to left.

Full-count fastball, groundout to short. Runner was going on the pitch and
got to second.

Groundout to second on an 0-1 changeup.

Four straight balls to Andy Phillips.

Michael Restovich struck out swinging. Restovich didn't look good on strike
three, but he looked awful on strike two.

That's it for Wang. Claggett is in the game.


Wang's line: 6 ip, 3 h, 0 r, 0 er, 3 bb, 6 k.
82 pitches, 49 strikes.



這是有人問了Wang關於arm slot和release poing有沒有什麼要特別注意的

Any major change in his arm slot and release point that is noticeable?  How
about the arm speed?


Chad Jennings的回答是一切看來很正常, 和他在大聯盟三場先發的差別是, 球速快了一
點, 而且球有尾勁且可以壓低。

No major arm slot or release point difference that I can see. He looks
normal, which seems like good news.

The difference between what he was doing in the big leagues and what he's
doing today might be a little bit of velocity, but I think it's mostly that
he's getting good movement on the sinker and keeping it down.
