跑，洋基，跑

No audio today. To be honest with you, there wasn’t much you’d be
interested in hearing.

今天沒有音訊檔，老實說，這並沒有什麼你們有興趣聽的。

Girardi on where Bobby Abreu will hit:
吉拉迪對Abreu會打第幾棒的看法：

discussions as we go though spring training, but Bobby’s hit third a lot

* There will be live BP tomorrow. CMW, Mike Mussina, Joba Chamberlain and
Ian Kennedy will be among those taking the mound. How’d you like to be
a player in camp for two days who gets to face Joba, who has been in Tampa
for a month?

明天是投手投打擊練習。要上場投球的投手有：王建民、穆西納、張伯倫、甘迺迪。
你會想成為那個才來春訓兩天，就要來面對已經在Tampa一個月的Joba的打者嗎？

* Girardi had a book written by John Wooden on his desk today. Joe Torre
almost always had a Wooden book the desk. Then again, if you’re any sort
of coach or manager, you should be reading what Coach Wooden has to say.

吉拉迪有一本 John Wooden寫的書在他的書桌上。拖瑞幾乎都會把Wooden寫的書
放在他的桌上。如果你是個教練或總教練，你應該看看Wooden教練說的話。

* New spring training instructor Tino Martinez needs work with the fungo
bat. As he was trying to hit grounders to Jason Giambi and Shelley Duncan,
he kept spraying line drives into right field. It looks easy, but there’s
a real art to hitting grounders with the right spin.

新的春訓客座指導員，Tino Martinez，該好好練習他的打擊。當他他要打滾地球給
吉安比和鄧肯接時，卻打一些平飛球到右外野去。這看起來很簡單，但把滾地球打向

* I followed around Joe Girardi today. He’s a guy who lets his coaches
coach. He takes a lot of notes. I suspect once camp thins out, he’ll get
more hands-on. He’s clearly evaluating what he has.

我今天跟著吉拉迪。他是一個讓他的教練團們訓練球員，他在一旁寫筆記。
我想等春訓營的人數便少了後，他會真正介入。他很明顯的是在評估他手
邊有的是什麼樣的陣容。

* You’ll be surprised when you see Joba. He has slimmed down a lot.

如果你看到 Joba的話，你一定會很驚訝，因為他瘦了一大圈。

* Spent some time talking to Abreu today before the workout. He told me
about a trip be made to Taiwan last month, mostly for pleasure but also
for some business. Chien-Ming Wang was in Arizona at the time. But he
arranged for his college coach, Min-Cheng Lin, to show Bobby around.

今天的訓練開始前，和Abreu聊天。他告訴我，他一個月前的台灣行，大致上是趟
遊山玩水式的，但也有點商業性質。當時王建民在亞利桑納，但王請他的大學教練
林敏政帶Abreu到處看看。

* CMW’s English is getting better, by the way. My Mandarin, however,
still stinks. I know how to say “good morning” and “have a good game.”

王建民的英文持續進步，順便提一下，我的中文還是很糟。我知道怎麼用中文說
「早安」及「享受一場好比賽」
