SAVES FOR RELIEF PITCHERS
10.20
Credit a pitcher with a save when he meets all three
of the following conditions: (1) He is the finishing pitcher
in a game won by his club; and (2) He is not the winning pitcher;

and (3) He qualifies under one of the following conditions:
(a) He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs
and pitches for at least one inning; or
(b) He enters the game, regardless of the count,
with the potential tying run either on base,
or at bat, or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already
on base or is one of the first two batsmen he faces); or
(c) He pitches effectively for at least three innings.
No more than one save may be credited in each game.
「救援成功的資格(3): 在(1)(2)皆成立之下
只要符合下列(a)(b)(c)任一種條件就可以了
(a)最少投完一局，領先不超過三分(包含三分)
(b)不論投球局數，進場首先面對的該名打者或次一棒代表追平分
(簡單講就是壘上的跑者數＋２ 假設這些分數通通得分以後
比賽可能追平)
(公式速解: 壘上的跑者數＋２≧領先差 , (b)條件就成立 )
(c)最少投完三局，不管失分」
袁大博士如果是指九局首打席 救援投手就上來
那當然領先≧4分，該救援投手就不符合救援成功的條件(非SVO)。
但是如果是壘上有人的狀況下，即使是領先5分也可能符合救援成功的條件
例1：九下「兩出局滿壘」，主隊領先5分，
派出救援投手接替完成九局結束比賽勝利，
這樣壘上的跑者數(３)＋２＝５，恰好連續兩支全壘打可能追平領先的5分
則上述最後一任救援投手雖然在領先5分的狀況下出來，
仍給予救援成功的紀錄(Save)
例2：九下「一出局」無人在壘，主隊領先3分，
派出救援投手接替完成九局結束比賽勝利，
這樣壘上的跑者數(０)＋２＝２，
即使連續兩支全壘打也不可能追平領先的3分
就「不能」算是救援成功
★特殊客場優勢：八局結束後雙方平手，主隊在後面任一局獲得致勝分後
比賽即宣告結束。所以在八局結束後雙方平手，
主隊的救援成功條件(SVO)會因規則理論自動消失，
這時候如果主隊選擇冰凍closer等贏球，那他唯一能作的事
就是贏球再見時上來抱抱囉！
