: Eric Duncan was drafted by the Yankees in the first round in 2003, out of
: high school in West Orange, New Jersey. His lefthanded power bat was

和Florida State League)，去年他則被拉到2A，他在那裡是最年輕(20歲)的選手。
但是他在2A的126場比賽中只有.235的打擊率、且被三振了136次。即使敲了19支全壘打
，這樣的表現並不能算好。

今年洋基讓他從3A出發，顯然使他的打擊更糟糕了。他在Columbus的31場比賽中只繳出
.209/.279/.255的成績單。在6月初被下放回2A後，他.266/.363/.532加上10支全壘打的
表現顯然有所進步。然而，在考慮他的高選秀順位與倍受期待的情況下，總體來說他仍
多少有些令人失望。且他一直對揮擊變化球有著很大的障礙。

:         has improved greatly. His BB/K ratio for Trenton this year
:         is 25/28 in 173 at-bats, compared to 59/136 in 451 at-bats
:         last year. He has increased his walk rate slightly, but cut
:         his strikeout rate almost in half compared to last season.

: Duncan has suffered from being rushed, and there's no guarantee that he will

  Duncan然飽受rush所苦，而且沒人能保證他將會以大家當初想像的方式成功。但是要放
  棄他與否仍是太早下定論了。我懷疑他是否能有更好的打擊率，但是他的power將會成
  長到什麼境界仍強烈的激起我的興趣。
