Gary Sheffield told the New York Post that he won't be playing in right
field again this season because of a strained left thigh.
"I am done doing that," Sheffield told the newspaper. "I don't see it
getting any better."
Sheffield告訴紐約郵報,他這個球季會因為左大腿的傷,不會再到右外野進行守
備了.他說:"我已經做了我該做的,可是不見傷勢的好轉..."
Although the injury isn't keeping Sheffield on the bench, the slugger is
disappointed he isn't able to play in the field.
"I like to make a difference in both places," Sheffield told the Post.
"We are a stronger team if I am on the field. I would like to let the guys
who are used to being the DH, be the DH."
雖然受傷並不會讓Sheffield坐在板凳上,但他仍是難掩失望,只因為他不能在他
的領域進行守備,他說:"我喜歡同時在打擊跟守備領域兼具下打球,如果我能在右
外野的話,我們會是一支更強的隊伍,我希望讓那些習慣打DH的隊友來打DH..."
今天薛老爹看到Crosby頂替他在右外野的表現...應該要放心許多唄...^0^
