DETROIT -- Gary Sheffield's return to the lineup may prove to be little more
than a tease for the Yankees, as the right fielder may be headed back to the
disabled list with a wrist injury.

底特律: Ｓheffield的歸隊恐怕會變成一段對洋基的嘲弄，　這名右外野手可能又要因為
手傷而上傷兵名單

Sheffield was scratched from the Yankees' lineup less than an hour before the
start of Tuesday's game, as the team announced he had a sore left wrist.

After the game, Sheffield expressed concern that the injury -- which he said is
in a different spot than the one that kept him sidelined for more than two weeks
this month -- might send him back to the disabled list.

在比賽後，　Ｓheffield表示他對傷勢的擔心，他說這次的痠痛位置跟上次讓他缺席兩個
禮拜的不同，而他擔心可能會因此回到傷兵名單。

"I don't know what's going on," Sheffield said. "I felt like it was getting
better, but it's in a different spot now. It's right on the wrist, right on the
bone. It's really painful.

Sheffield說到”我不知道現在是怎麼回事”　”我之前覺得有在好轉，但現再是另一個地
方。現在是在手腕上，直接在骨頭上。　非常的疼痛。

"I'm trying to get back, especially with [Hideki] Matsui down, and do what I'm
accustomed to doing," he added. "When you're not able to do that, it's
frustrating."

”我在嘗試著趕快歸隊並且繼續我所習慣作的事，尤其在松井受傷的時候”他補充到　
”當你做不到的時候，真的很懊惱”

Sheffield said that his current ailment is on the bone on the outside of his
wrist, where the bruise that sent him to the DL earlier this month was on the
inside of his wrist.

Sheffield 說他現在的問題是在手腕外側的骨頭上，　而之前讓他上傷兵名單的淤傷
是在手腕的內側。

This latest setback clearly has Sheffield frustrated, as he felt he was making
progress since returning from the DL last Tuesday.

這個最新的延宕很明顯的讓Sheffield感到苦惱，　他自從上禮拜二歸隊後一直覺得
他有再進步。

Sheffield said he first felt this injury during Monday's game, but he didn't
think much of it.

Sheffield 說到他在禮拜一的比賽時首次感到此傷，但當時沒有多想。

"I thought it was nothing, but as soon as I came back today, I couldn't even
swing a bat," Sheffield said. "I just played in the game. I don't know what's
going on. I don't know what to tell you."

道出了什麼問題，我不知道能告訴你什麼”

Sheffield said his wrist felt "a little sore" when he woke up, so he arrived at
Comerica Park early to receive treatment and prepare for the game.

Sheffield 說他今天起來時手腕感到有些酸痛，所以他提早到了球場來接受治療並且準備
比賽

"I came in to get it loose, came in early to get treatment and thought that was
all I needed to get to the game," Sheffield added. "As soon as I picked up the
bat to warm up, it felt like my wrist came off. I couldn't even make it to
batting practice."

”我早到球場後想要將它暖起來，接受點治療，我本來以為這樣就可以比賽了。”

Sheffield will be shut down for the final two games of the Detroit series, as
he said there was "no chance" he would be available, even as a pinch-hitter.
If he doesn't show any improvement, he said he could head back to New York to
visit Dr. Charles Melone, the hand specialist he dealt with for the previous
injury.

Sheffield 在底特律後面兩場都不能出賽，他本人說他沒有機會能上場，即使是代打。

"I'll see how it responds tomorrow," Sheffield said. "But if it don't get any
better, I think that's the scenario."

"We're going to ice it a couple of days and see where we are," said manager Joe

Sheffield was on the DL from May 6-23 after bruising his wrist during a
collision with Toronto first baseman Shea Hillenbrand on April 29. Sheffield
received an anti-inflammatory shot before coming off the DL, but he is just
6-for-25 (.240) with one RBI since returning to the lineup on May 23.

Sheffield 在五月六號到二十三號時在傷兵名單上，就在四月二十九號跟多倫多一壘手
Shea Hillenbrand 對撞而傷到了手腕後。Sheffield 在離開傷兵名單前接受了防止感染的

"I didn't feel comfortable, like I was able to overpower the baseball,"
Sheffield said. "But I felt like with time, I'd get better. I'm not able to do
that. When you're in and out of the lineup, you never can stay consistent."

”我之前並沒有感到十分的舒服，　我的力量無法壓過棒球”　Sheffield說到
”但我之前認為只要花點時間我就能好轉。　但我現在做不到。　當你不能穩定的在
打線中，　你不可能有穩定的表現”

With this latest news, Sheffield may have to wait even longer to find that
consistency.
