The Yankees do not believe they match up with Washington for Alfonso Soriano
or with Milwaukee for Carlos Lee, if the Brewers make him available. The
Yankees' best hope of acquiring Bobby Abreu would be if the Phillies were
simply trying to get rid of his salary, which does not seem to be the case.

洋基並不認為他們能完成與國民隊有關Alfonso Soriano或密爾瓦基釀酒人隊的Carlos Lee
的交易,即使釀酒人隊願意交易。而洋基隊的另一選擇--費城人隊的Bobby Abreu的交易最

The Yankees could deal for a lesser outfielder, though they have no interest
in Carl Everett, who was designated for assignment by Seattle on Wednesday.
And they are considering pitchers, with Kansas City's Mark Redman, Baltimore's
Rodrigo Lopez and three Washington starters potentially available.

洋基隊可能會交易一些較次一級的的外野手,但是沒意願將被水手隊DFA的Carl Eve-
rett招攬至旗下。洋基也考慮過一些有關投手的交易,堪薩斯皇家隊的Mark Redman
巴爾的摩金鶯隊的Rpdrigo Lopez和華盛頓國民隊三位可能交易的投手。
