Jaret Wright pronounced himself ready to go for his start on Wednesday after
throwing a bullpen session on Sunday, testing his sore neck and collarbone
for the second straight day.
Wright, who was drilled by a line drive in his start against the Mariners on
Thursday, reported no problems after the side session.

"It doesn't feel like I didn't get hit, but I don't see it as something that
could hamper me," Wright said. "When it happened, I'm sure a lot of people
didn't think that would be the case."
Wright has made four starts since returning from a shoulder injury on Aug.
15. He pitched very well against Tampa Bay and Toronto before being hit hard
by Kansas City, but the right-hander was in his sixth shutout inning in
Seattle on Thursday before Raul Ibanez's liner hit him in the neck.

On Saturday, Wright played catch for the first time, and he felt well enough
to give the bullpen session a try on Sunday. With that test behind him, he's
ready to face the Devil Rays on Wednesday at Yankee Stadium.
"I think it went all right," Wright said. "As far as the motion, it felt OK.
Once you get going, it feels as loose as it's going to get, and I think it'll
be good."
星期六Jaret Wright開始第一次接捕...感覺好不錯..可以星期天在牛棚嘗試後援...
他現在已經做好星期三在洋基球場面對魔鬼魚的準備...
