Johnny Damon expects to miss Thursday's game after leaving with a sore
abdominal muscle tonight.
It was first reported as an oblique injury, but Damon said that wasn't right.
He first felt a pain during pregame batting practice, and then while taking a
swing in the on-deck circle before his first at-bat. "At first I thought it
could be a small, little hernia," he said. "I'll try to be back as soon as I
can." Bubba Crosby or Bernie Williams will start in center tomorrow.
