Torre said Chien Ming Wang is the best starting pitcher he ever saw come from
the Yankees minor league system in eons. He truly is the next Petite and.or
MO in terms of pitching success. Mind you in all of his games played so far
after being called up, he
is consistently good. If Gordon didn't blow some of his wins, he would've
have more wins under his belt. Suffice it to say, that he just only turned 25,
he has so much ahead of him. The Yanks should bring him up to be the next
great Yankees pitcher. Never even think about trading him, because it would
be a great great loss. If the Yankees are smart, then they probably see
the great potential in Wang and as someone they can build a future rotation
around. Secondly he also is
getting alot of airplay in Ta wan and the Yankees are gaining a lot of
marketing ground on him and hence it is alot more lucrative in keeping
Wang than having another in his place. Yanks bring more revenue if they
have Wang and attract alot more fans
that was not reached so far. And d d I mention Wang is lights out,
he retired 17 batters in a row, he did not let the rocky 1st inning
shake him, he only got stronger and tougher. Wang did a great job!
