NEW YORK -- Inning after inning, the Yankees had men on base.

The Devil Rays had relatively few chances,

but Tampa Bay managed to break through at the right time,
但是他們卻在正確的時機抓住了機會,

scoring twice off of Mariano Rivera in the 10th inning

to hand the Yankees a 4-2 loss.

The Yankees had only themselves to blame for this one,

Wigginton lofted a sac fly to right, scoring Green for an insurance run.

Former Yankee right-hander Dan Miceli made things interesting in the 10th,
10局下,前洋基隊右投手Dan Miceli上場救援卻使得比賽更加刺激,

walking two batters and allowing a Jeter single to load the bases
他保送了兩位打者之後又被Jeter擊出一壘安打,在兩出局之後洋基隊形成滿壘

Shawn Camp came in to put out the fire,
此時魔鬼魚推出Shawn Camp上場撲滅火勢,

retiring Sheffield to earn his second save of the season.
順利解決了Sheffield,並且獲得本季第2次救援成功.
