Right-hander's outing spoiled by Zimmerman homer in ninth

WASHINGTON -- The Yankees needed Chien-Ming Wang to provide them with a
lengthy outing on Sunday. As

it turned out, they left him in for one batter too long.
Ryan Zimmerman stunned the Yankees with a two-run walkoff home run, spoiling
what would have been

Wang's first career complete-game victory, as the Nationals took the rubber
match by a 3-2 final.

這個禮拜天洋基隊需要王建民吃下較長的局數，結果證明，他們讓王多投了一個人次

over the wall in left field, ending the game with one swing.

The Nationals struck first with a run in the fifth, as Brendan Harris singled
in Ryan Zimmerman. New

York tied the game in the next inning, as Derek Jeter doubled, moved to third
on a wild pitch and

scored on Jorge Posada's sacrifice fly.

Gary Majewski opened the eighth for the Nats by walking Melky Cabrera, but
the right-hander followed

with strikeouts of Jeter and Jason Giambi. That brought Alex Rodriguez to the
plate, and he drilled

the first pitch to deep left-center, scoring Cabrera all the way from first.

而國民隊的後援投手Gary Majewski在八局上登板，一開始雖然保送了Melky Cabrera，但
是這位右投手之後三振了Jeter 和 Jason Giambi，這讓A-ROD站上了打擊區，而A-ROD也不
負眾望對著第一球打出了左外野深遠的二壘安打，將一壘上的Cabrera送回本壘。

Rodriguez, who has been working with Don Mattingly for the past two days
after the hitting coach

spotted a flaw in A-Rod's mechanics, went 2-for-2 with a pair of walks on
Sunday. Rodriguez also had

two hits on Saturday, including a two-run home run to center.

之後，今天繳出了2隻2外加兩個保送，A-ROD在昨天的比賽也打出了2支安打，包括一隻
中外野的兩分打點全壘打

Wang retired the side in order in five of the first seven innings, working
quickly and efficiently.

With Kyle Farnsworth (back spasms) still unavailable and the team looking to
give the overworked Scott

Proctor and Mariano Rivera a day off, Wang went out for the eighth and walked
Harris to start the

inning.

小王在前七局中的五局裡面讓對手快速而有效率的三上三下，在Kyle Farnsworth(背部拉
傷)不能上場而教練希望讓快被操壞的Scott Proctor和Mariano Rivera休息一天，小王上
場投第八局就讓Harris保送上壘。

Marlon Byrd bunted Harris to second, but Wang retired Brian Schneider for the
second out. After

walking Alfonso Soriano, Wang got Jose Vidro to fly out to left, where
Cabrera ran down the ball,

making a nice catch to preserve the lead.

Marlon Byrd犧牲觸擊讓Harris上了2壘，小王讓隨後上來的Brian Schneider出局
之後又保送了Alfonso Soriano使一二壘有人，小王又讓Jose Vidro擊出左外野的
飛球被Cabrera美技接殺。


Unfortunately for Wang and the Yankees, he was unable to close the deal,
losing for the first time

since May 22, a span of five starts.

但是不幸的是，小王沒辦法結束這場比賽，使得自5月22號以來的連勝終止了
(a span of five starts.這句的意思不太清楚?)
