Right-hander blanks Tampa Bay for 12th victory

NEW YORK -- Sometimes beating the last-place Devil Rays can seem somewhat easy
for the Yankees. But with Yankees starter Chien-Ming Wang on the mound and the
opposing pitcher dishing out walks en masse, it can look even easier.
The Yankees beat the Rays for the seventh time this season, 6-0, Friday night t
o extended their winning streak to four games.

紐約--有時後打敗排名最後的魔鬼魚對於洋基對來說的確是比較容易。但是當洋基先發

投手王建民站上投手丘，以及對方投手不斷的送上保送保送，甚至讓比賽更為容易。

洋基以6-0的成績在本季第七度打敗魔鬼魚隊，周五晚上他們將連勝延長至4連勝。



Wang took a perfect game into the fifth inning and allowed just two hits in a s
hutout performance. The Devil Rays got only one runner past first base.

王建民在進入五局的時候依舊上演著完美比賽並且在這場完封的表演中只讓對手打出了兩

隻安打。魔鬼魚只有一名跑者曾經突破一壘。


Holding the Devil Rays down is nothing new for Wang. He held them to one run in
 8 1/3 innings on July 8 and was 1-0 with a 1.76 ERA in two previous starts aga
inst them this season.

壓制住魔鬼魚隊對王來說已經不是新鮮事，他再七月八號的比賽，8 1/3 的投球，只讓他

們得了一分。而在本季前兩次面對他們演出了1.76 ERA，1-0 的好表現。


Wang gave up his first hit to Ty Wigginton to lead off the fifth. That was only
 after sitting on the bench for quite some time. While Wang dominated on the mo
und, his offense left little suspense to the game.

王在第五局被 Ty Wigginton 打出了這場比賽的第一隻安打。這是在他在休息區坐了好一

段時間之後的事。王在投手丘上主宰了比賽，他的技巧讓比賽沒有太多的不安。


The Yankees twice came within a batter of hitting around. The first came in a t
wo-run second inning highlighted by a bobbled double play ball that extended th
e inning. The Yankees scored another pair of runs in the fourth as Derek Jeter
hit a double and four of the next five batters walked.

洋基隊這場比賽兩次有相當成功的打擊得分表現。第一次在二局上半因為一個雙殺的失誤

守備讓這局得以延續下去，並跑回來了兩分。另一次得了兩分則是在第四局 Jeter 的二

壘安打之後，後四位打者皆得到保送。


Tampa Bay starter Tim Corcoran walked six batters in 3 1/3 innings. Wang, meanw
hile, walked just one and threw only 104 pitches.

坦帕灣的先發投手 Tim Corcoran 在3 1/3的局數保送了六名打者。同時王建民僅僅保送

了一名打者並且只用了104球。


Alex Rodriguez started the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and B
ernie Williams smacked his eighth homer of the season in the sixth to round up
the rest of the Yankees' scoring.

A-rod 在第一局帶有一分打點的一壘安打後開始展開洋基的攻勢， Bernie Willams 在第

六局打出了本季的第八號全壘打，並攻下洋基的第六分。( 充版面？)
