: 7-2 victory over the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium.

連續八局未失分的小王指向Guidry，Guidry告訴小王說今晚投八局就夠了，因為小王

Verlander(14場)1場，而小王昨晚面對最後8位打者皆讓他們無功而返，並製造了
16個滾地球出局。小王在最近的38又1/3局中，只丟掉7分，防禦率僅1.64。Ron Villone
接手最後一局，被Troy Glaus打出兩分打點全壘打。

: Torre admitted he was tempted to leave Wang in the game. Asked if Wang's
: pitch count was too high, Torre said: "It wasn't high, but it could've
: gotten high. It (taking him out) was probably the smartest thing to do."
: The starter was not complaining.
: "This," Wang said, "has been a lot of fun."

Torre賽後承認說他想讓小王繼續投下去。當被問到小王的投球數會不會太多了，Torre
答道："還不算太多啦，但如果讓他投下去有可能變很多，我想把他換下去也許是一個
很明智的抉擇。"

小王並未抱怨。

小王說："看他們在換(Guidry)與不換(Torre)之間，實在很有趣。"
