TAMPA - Yankees pitcher Carl Pavano visited a California back specialist last
 week after feeling lower back stiffness during a throwing session. But Pavano,
 whose first season in pinstripes was shortened by injury, received a clean
 bill of health and was cleared to throw when camp starts this week.

Cashman said Pavano wouldn't be slowed by his back, but he acknowledged
 - as he has all winter - that this is a big season for Pavano. "He has to prove
 he has no issues," Cashman said. "He has to prove that he can throw every five
 days and that he can be effective.

這老兄怎麼搞的 ?好險洋基先發夠多 不過去年老病傷問題季中可能還是會爆出萊
