it's time for them to return from their injuries?

Well, David, the first thing I will say is that it's hard to predict, since
we have no idea who may or may not be healthy by the time that happens.
Neither pitcher is expected back until June, and a lot can happen in the next
month.

Now, assuming everything is as it is right now, the first move I would expect
would be to designate Tanyon Sturtze for assignment. Sturtze has shown signs

Sturtze's $1.5 million salary won't be a big deal to the Yankees, who
designated both Mike Stanton and Paul Quantrill last summer, while both
pitchers were making more than Sturtze is making now.

The second move would be the harder one. The easy thing to say would be that
Proctor would be sent to the Minors, as he has an option left which would
allow the Yankees to keep him in the organization.

But given the way Proctor has been throwing the ball, I would find it hard to
believe that they would send him down if he continues to pitch this well.
Like I said, there's a lot of time between now and then, but it will be

 季初到現在, 曾經一度擔心小王的狀況如果不趕快穩定下來, 很有可能會成為
 季中交易的對象. 不過現在看起來, Torre 和 Guidry 似乎是有計劃的在改造
 小王, 由於去年的異軍突起, 他的 sinker 應該是各家狙擊重點, 所以也可以
 看出今年小王出賽時, 配球不斷加入 slider 和 change up交叉運用, 很多關
 鍵時刻不再是用sinker而是其他球路, 連賽前的scouting report 也顯少再提
 到他的sinker, 不過還好小王自己還算爭氣, 雖然目前還處於不穩定狀況, 但
 還不至於到一整個鳥掉的地步, 只是SP多, 競爭也激烈, 希望他能早點穩定下
 來.

 以目前的roster來看, 屆時如果Dotel和Pavano回來, Sturtze大概逃不過 DFA
 的命運, 另一個被抓來開刀的, 我想 Andy 可能會被降回 3A吧? 反正還有
 Cairo 在, 而且目前的情況, Andy根本得不到足夠的打數, 與其冰在板凳中,
 我倒覺得讓 Andy 回3A保持身手會比較好?

 老實說, 以Proctor目前的表現, 我看不出抓他開刀的理由. 倒是我
 們的 SP, RP大爆滿, 所以我論 Jaret Wright季中被交易的可能性? = ="....
