[洋基] Chacon returns from disabled list

Nobody will baby Shawn Chacon on Sunday when he returns to the mound for the
first time since May 16.

The Yankees right-hander will get the usual treatment.

"You're a grown man, you know what to do," Chacon said of his teammates'
reactions to his return. "It's just normal, 'It's about time. Come and earn
your money,' stuff."

The Yankees starter said he's had a "helpless feeling" on the bench and that
he's anxious to pitch since heading to the 15-day disabled list when a
comebacker hit his left leg just below the knee in a start against Boston on
May 11. Chacon pitched for Double-A Trenton last Sunday, allowing three runs in
five innings, but said he hasn't felt too far removed from the Major League
mound.

Chacon said he feels "normal" and that he felt stronger as the rehab start went
on. The 28-year-old righty is 4-1 with a 5.21 ERA this season. And although
he'd like to repeat his performance from last season, when his second-half
success bailed out a struggling rotation, Chacon isn't putting too much
pressure on himself.

taking the first two games of the weekend three-game series.

"I don't try to set goals to be as great as I was last year or be better,"
Chacon said. "Just everyday you tell yourself to go out and do something to

The Yankees and their stadium are not favorites with Sunday's starter for the
A's. Zito is 2-9 with a 5.10 ERA in 15 regular-season career appearances
against the Yankees, and 1-5 with a 3.93 ERA at Yankee Stadium. Zito has a
four-game winning streak over his last five starts, a span during which he has
a 2.62 ERA.

洋基與他們的球場對運動家的先發十分不友善。 Zito生涯在季賽面對洋基的十五戰中

has begin to hit again, but hasn't driven home a run in seven games and hasn't
homered in his last 11.

輸球都不是沒打到球或是沒上壘...就是殘壘啊orz...  希望Chacon的歸隊能
讓球隊的氣氛改變....
