後來我寫信給Tom Singer問Hot Stove的意思，他說：
"Hot Stove" is a very old expression referring to baseball's offseason. I
suppose it refers to fans, long ago in the cold of winter, sitting around a
hot stove talking baseball and looking forward to the next summer's warmth.
