Bullying bullpen: If there's yet another facet to why the Yankees have
won eight of their past nine games, it's their well-rested bullpen.
The Yankees' bullpen has allowed just three runs in 11 2/3 innings
(2.33 ERA) since the All-Star break.

despite the oppressive heat in Yankee Stadium the past couple of days.

how much longer he'll manage because he didn't think he'd make it to

Berra, who gave Torre a birthday call to start the day.

were in the Yankees' Opening Day lineup. Miguel Cairo, with his
season-high six-game hit steak, was in the No. 2 spot in the lineup.
Rodriguez's injury forced Green into playing third and hitting eighth
and Kelly Stinnett was at No. 9, giving Jorge Posada a night off.
打線一覽：週二的先發打序只有四名選手跟洋基開幕戰先發打序一樣。Miguel
