: 這是BA在2004 11月排出來的Top 10
: 1. Eric Duncan, 3b    今年在2A 126場比賽打出  .235/.326/.408 19HR
他有被 rush 的問題，未來也不會繼續站在 3B ，事實上他季中在 AA 就已經在練 1B
了。根據 BA 的說法，他的選球不錯，但是對變化球非常缺乏抵抗能力，整體而言並
沒有足夠站穩 AA 的能力，球團拉他拉的太快。

從大聯盟回去之後表現的很糟，有被 rush 到的可能。整體而言未來應該會是一個

Alan Matthews: Cabrera really took a step back after he was rushed to the big
leagues, although he had a big postseason, as he homered twice. He's a fourth
outfielder for me. Defensively he has to improve on his jumps, he's a tick
slow getting off the ball when it's hit. His speed is avg, arm is a touch
above, he just doesn急 make good reads off the bat. His swing is simple and
compact, which is good, but he's going to gave to learn how to handle the
fastball in. He dives out a little bit and while his bat's not slow, he just
does not have a lot of movement in that swing. He can't seem to grasp having
a more active bat, even though he does it in BP. He hasn急 been able to get
any movement going. When you're that still, you're going to get pounded in.
Most successful hitter have some type of movement in their hands and wrists
as the pitch is arriving and he likes to hit from a dead set.

紅襪農場很鳥是兩三年前的事情，現在的情況可以參考 BA 另外一名編輯 John Manuel
在 ESPN 的 Chat Wrap  提到的:

Jim (LA): Who has the better overall system- Yanks or Red Sox???

John Manuel: Theo Epstein's two biggest accomplishments in Boston have been
(a) winning a World Series (of course) but also (b) building the farm system.
The Red Sox probably have one of the top 10 systems in the game right now,
with impact talent both on the mound and potentially in the field at the
Double-A and Triple-A levels. The Yankees aren't in that class right now, but
they do have a lot of talent in their system. The knock on the Yanks system
is nearly all of the impact talent is in A-ball or below.

不過其實我對紅襪農場不是那麼看好，但是這邊不是談這類問題的地方....

推 elduque:Melky Cabrera根本就被高估，他頂多就是replacement level
推 tzjmhquc:其實Manuel對紅襪的農場過於樂觀也是事實...
推 elduque:我也這樣覺得 畢竟他們手中的好牌也不算多(中等的倒不少)
→ keppel:我推文的意思是說 再交易下去 就會變成第二個86年的紅襪
→ keppel:高層不重視農場 老是用新秀換明星 搞到老本都沒了
