Yankees prospects bouncing back

NEW YORK -- While one top prospect seemed to be coming back down to Earth,
others showed signs of breaking out of their ruts.
T.J. Beam and Matt Smith have apparently shaken some rust off their arms, while
Eric Duncan's bat has cooled off following his first seven games.
Here is how all six Yankees prospects did in the AFL last week:
RHP T.J. Beam -- The lanky right-hander bounced back after a brutal seven-run
outing Oct. 12. Beam appeared in three straight games last week, allowing one
run in four innings. He picked up a save in Grand Canyon's 3-0 win over Phoenix
on Oct. 18 and struck out five in two innings against Surprise on Oct. 20.
3B Eric Duncan -- Duncan cooled off a bit following a blistering start to his
AFL season, but he still did plenty of damage last week. The 20-year-old corner
infielder went 2-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI on
Oct. 17, then went 2-for-4 and drove in two more runs the next day.
C David Parrish -- The 26-year-old backstop continued to struggle at the plate,
going 1-for-7 with six strikeouts in two games this week.
RF Bronson Sardinha -- The 22-year-old Hawaiian has been a steady presence in
Grand Canyon's lineup, batting .372 in 12 games. Sardinha went 3-for-5 with two
RBIs on Oct. 17, then went 2-for-4 with a homer Oct. 20.
LHP Matt Smith -- The left-hander from Las Vegas has apparently gotten
comfortable with the desert surroundings again after spending the summer in
Trenton, N.J. In his first two outings, Smith gave up 11 runs but has yielded
just two runs -- one earned -- during his last two appearances, both of which
lasting two innings.
RHP Steven White -- White starred in his lone outing of the week, picking up
the win against Phoenix on Oct. 18 with five scoreless innings. He allowed
two hits and a walk while fanning three.

至於我們家的頂尖新秀Eric Duncan則是因為自認狀況冷掉因此較慢投入AFL，但上週開始
開始重擊對手，10/17四打數兩安打都是二壘安打，一打點三得分，隔天又是四之二並且再
有兩分打點進帳。
替補捕手David Parrish慘不忍睹，七打數一安打，其餘通通慘遭三振...
潛力不錯的夏威夷小子Bronson Sardinha近況火熱，12場比賽繳出0.372打擊率，10/17
五打數三安打，兩打點；10/20四打數兩安打包含一發全壘打。
另兩位投手左投Matt Smith及右投Steven White樣本數都不多，不過White四夫略優於
Smith，原諒我英文不好，還是等待強者翻詳細的好了@@
