Questions for Rafa: I don't feel like dancing


What did you say to Fernando at the end of your match, and does it rank as one

of your toughest wins? Jim, Suffolk

RN: We just spoke about the match and about how great a tournament he had, how

difficult the match was and how we both deserved to win. This was definitely

one of the toughest wins of my career.

在比賽之後你和Fernando說了些什麼呢？這場比賽是不是你在生涯中所拿下的艱難的場

次之一呢？

Rafa: 我們只是談了些關於比賽的事情，像是他在這個賽事的表現很棒，這場比賽是如

      何的難以拿下，和我們都值得拿下勝利這些事。這的確是我職業生涯中最因難的

      比賽之一。

Who is your favourite female tennis player?

RN: Carla Suarez is playing great and she is young and with a huge potential.

在女子選手中，你最喜歡的是誰呢？

Rafa: 我覺得Carla Suarez打得滿好的，而且她很年輕，同時具有很大的潛力。

      (她是誰呢？…要查查才行！)

What is your favourite dessert, ice cream or lolly? Camilla, Sydney

RN: Ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with cookies.

你喜歡什麼樣的點心呢？冰淇淋 還是 棒棒糖呢？

Rafa: 冰淇淋！特別是香草冰淇淋搭配餅乾。

      (我和Rafa一樣呢！好開心！^^)

I really love how you move on the court, almost as if you are dancing. Have you

ever tried dancing? Reyes, Alicante.

RN: No, never. I mean, yes, I dance when I go out with my friends but that's it
.

我很愛看你在場上移動的樣子，就好像你在跳舞一樣。你曾經跳過舞嗎？

Rafa: 從來沒有過。我的意思是在我和朋友們出去時我會跳一下，不過儘止於此。

      (Rafa應該會跳一點小舞喔！哪像我舞蹈笨蛋…XDD)

Do you hear the click of the photographers who are on court when you're playing

?

RN: Yes, a lot. We are used to it.

在場上比賽時，你有聽到照相機的喀嚓聲嗎？

Rafa: 常常會。我們必需習慣它。

Serving aces is a big part of being a top tennis player, is this something that

you are targeting in your play to take some of the strain out of matches?

RN: I try to serve better always. At least in a smart way. That doesn't mean

harder, if you know what I mean.

要成為頂尖選手，能夠打出aces球是很重要的要素之一。為了在比賽中增加些緊張感，

你是不是把在比賽中打出許多aces球列為你的目標呢？

Rafa: 我總是嘗試著把球發好。至少，以比較有智慧的方法發球。這不代表要做到很困

      難，希望你明白我要表達的意思。

When you are playing at a tournament, how much do you follow the results of

other matches? Do you like to know how well the other top players are playing?

RN: I do like to follow all the results. This is my life and my work and want

to be informed.

當你在一個賽事的進行時，對於其他的比賽結果你也會去注意嗎？你會想知道其他的種子

選手的比賽表現嗎？

Rafa: 我確實會去注意所有的比賽結果。這是我的職業、也是我的生活，我必需要知道才

      行。

How much water do you have to drink the night before a match to make sure you

are properly hydrated? Beth

RN: Not that much. I do it during and after the match but not at night.

在比賽的前一晚，你會喝多少水來確保你身體的水份足夠呢？

Rafa: 不會喝很多。我會在比賽進行時和賽後補充水份，而非在前一晚。

When you go to the movies do you eat popcorn or something else? Brandy, Memphis

RN: I LOVE sweet popcorn. You know which one I mean? Not the salty one, the

sweet one. Too good to be true.

去看電影時，你會吃爆米花或是其他的食物嗎？

Rafa: 我最愛吃甜的爆米花。你知道我說的是那一種嗎？不是鹹的那種，而是甜的口味。

      好吃到難以致信！

      (這一點和我一樣，甜的特好吃！！！！)
