Hiddink won't give up on Van Bronckhorst
PSV coach Guus Hiddink has confirmed an interest in Arsenal's Dutch interna-
tional Giovanni van Bronckhorst and has stated that despite the club's lack
of cash he will not give up on van Bronckhorst no matter how precarious the
club's financial position may be.
In an interview in the Dutch daily newspaper 'Eindhoven's Dagblad', Hiddink
said: "We are vulnerable on the left side. We have to play a lot of games.
When a player on the left side falls off, I have to reorganise the whole team,
that is no good. When you have the opportunity to get someone like van Bronck-
horst you have someone who can play at many positions. The former South Korean
trainer then added: "I won't give up no matter how bad the economic situation
is at PSV."

看來希丁克本人也相當有決心......
