PSV will wait for the UEFA to take actions in response to the discriminatory
noises made by Red Star fans on Wednesday night during the UCL qualifying
game against PSV, which were meant for PSV winger DaMarcus Beasley. That's
the point of view of PSV Chairman Harry van Raaij on the commotion that was
created about the 'sounds from the jungle' that could clearly be heard in the
Marakana Stadium and during the TV report, the moment Beasley touched the
ball.
The UEFA have started an internal investigation into this matter, for which
they have also made inquiries with PSV officials. It has been decided not to
make any announcements on this issue, before the UEFA will explain what
conclusions have been drawn.
