Mark van Bommel dropped by at the PSV Herdgang training ground on
Friday morning. He had come to say hello to his former team mates
and he also did some fitness exercises in the wood surrounding the
training ground.

Asian trip--
Van Bommel will not have to report for duty with FC Barcelona until
16 July. The players of the Catalan club will have a one-week
pres-season training camp in Denmark, after which they will start
an extensive Asian trip in China.
FC Barcelona are extremely popular in Asia and when the Chinese PSV
website was launched, the midfielder himself proved to be very popular
as well. Mark van Bommel will try to bring up his physical condition
in the county of Limburg the next few days.

Intensive fitness training

Some dozens of fans had come to the PSV Herdgang training ground on Friday
morning to attend the PSV first team squad training session. Much attention
was paid to physical labour during the training.
Fitness training--
The coaches Fred Rutten, Rene Eijkelkamp, fitness coach Luc van Agt and
goalkeeping coach Joop Hiele made the players work really hard. Most players
were outside on the pitch; Theo Lucius and Ibrahim Afellay, though, were in
the gym to do their own exercises. Both players are recovering from injuries.
Below you will find a few pictures taken at the morning training session.
