Of all the theories uttered and muttered Saturday night after the defeat
to Toronto, this one from Jason Kidd came the closest: "We have to find
out our identity, (and decide) whether are we going to be a team that
tries to outscore people or are we going to be a team that plays defense,"
the captain said. "And right now, we don't know. We're caught in the middle.
球隊必須找出屬於自己的特色(identity),你要嘛就得分得的比別人多,
不然就成為善於防守的球隊,可惜現在的籃網什麼都不是。
譯按:不就是進攻不行防守也不行嗎?

"I don't think we're that far off," Kidd agreed, "(but) it's the focus and
effort on a consistent basis that has to be there. We have so many little
breakdowns for a veteran ballclub. We sometimes act as though we just met
each other. We've got to fix that."
JK認為球隊並不是那麼的糟,或許只差一點點就可以建立屬於自己的identity,
當然必須把焦點放在磨合上並朝這方向去努力,籃網有這麼多老將,卻常常出一
些小差錯,感覺隊員們好像才剛認識彼此,對彼此都不熟悉,我會盡力改善這樣
的狀況。
