There is about 4 hours driving from DC to New York.
You can also take a bus in DC Chinatown.

I think this will be a good idea to travel between NYC and DC.
It's hard to find a cheap parking lot in NYC. Sometimes, even
the expensive one is also hard to find. So....come to NYC by
bus and take the advantage of the convenient subway system.

besides parking,
if you think about the gas price which is insanely high,
it's really economical to travel by bus..
the ticket price is around 10 bucks, if my memory serves me right.

i think round trip is 35 bucks, one way 20 bucks
