                      然要價$860M(--> ￡481m)，等於他想要當初他收購的兩倍！？
                      他們認為這個價格太豪洨，但仍打算看看情況發展再考慮出價。

                      而今天傳出的消息是，胖子沒有出席跟他們的meeting，而跟兩
                      頭犬人跑去喝酒，原因是因為他認為對方出的價格簡直是侮辱。

                      聽說對方只出了￡200m。

　　Newcastle United is only valued at ￡200m in the Arab business world -
because of a report prepared for the takeover of Manchester City.

　　City were bought by the Abu Dhabi United Group, which paid more than
￡220m to buy the club and wipe out a chunk of its debt.

　　Before take-over talks took place, previous owner and former Thai prime
minister Thaksin Shinawatra ordered a valuation report to be carried out by
leading experts BDO Stoy Hayward.

　　That report also put values on six Premier League clubs, including
Newcastle United, and that has been widely circulated around the Arab business
world.

　　The Magpies were placed at just ￡200m, based on their assets, performance
and the current value of the club brand.

評估曼城的價值及比較另外五支，包括新堡在內的俱樂部的價值
然後才跟那些中東油王金主們談價錢

其中新堡被估值才兩億，是兩億！
而這份報告也在阿拉伯世界廣泛流傳

　　Ashley jetted out to Dubai in a bid to find a buyer for United and is
reported to be asking for more than ￡480m, more than double what he has
ploughed into St James’s Park.

　　He was immediately met with the ￡200m valuation by the groups he
approached, understood to be the Dubai Investment Group and Zabeel Holdings,
all close associates of Abu Dhabi.

所以死胖子和他那兩位犬人一定不知道這份報告
還傻傻的開天殺價，阿拉伯人一定把頭巾掩著嘴在偷笑你的無知

　　“Not only that, but they know about Arsenal, which clearly has close  
links to Emirates, being valued at around ￡300m.                          

所以，你是那些金主，會選擇買哪一支球隊呢？

　　“That is a huge club doing very well and with regular European football.

　　“So, I think they will have been shocked to hear about the valuation
being put on Newcastle by Mike Ashley.

　　“Perhaps it was thought that these guys have billions and are thousands
of miles away from the city so let’s go and get some of that.

　　“But, what they maybe forgot is that these guys are very shrewd investors
and just because they have a lot of money, doesn’t mean they don’t want to
get a good deal for themselves.

　　“And don’t forget, before Abu Dhabi bought Man City, they also looked
at Newcastle, so will have had a pretty good idea of what it was worth.”

→ lapoto:對於能否脫手其實已經不抱太大希望 他要是肯出個230m左右
