本週話題當然跟砲德有關：
"Who is to blame for Roeder's exit? The players, manager or chairman?"
鄉民James Murphy的comment寫道：
"Roeder should never have been appointed manager in the first place. He
didn't have the appropriate badges, so should have stayed where he was
- where he was doing a good job. Newcastle have failed to get a manager
who will bring trophies to the club for too long now. Allardyce is the
man for the job, give him the money to get our defence sorted and we'll
finish in the top!"
他的意思是，新堡長期以來沒有找來一名可以帶領球隊爭標的領隊
Roeder也不是我們需要的領隊。他也從來沒有在列強執教的經歷
(或者是說, 他未曾帶一支球隊衝上前列的成績)
因此他在新堡執教的心態上，認為是在打一份好工
