Owen backing for Roeder

Michael Owen is convinced Glenn Roeder is the right man to lead Newcastle.
The Magpies have endured a disappointing season on the domestic front,
although their plight has not been aided by a raft of injuries.
Owen has been one of a number of players unavailable to Roeder and he
feels the club and manager should be judged on their achievements next season.
經過風風雨雨又傷兵滿營的三分二賽程後
麥可歐文一句 "我挺砲德，放眼下賽季" 表示出對Roeder的支持
"This is Glenn's first full season in charge and there has been a change
in backroom staff too," Owen told the Evening Chronicle.
"We have had a good season to be where we are with all of the injuries we
have had.
"This has been Glenn Roeder's first full season and he has had time to
assess his squad.
歐文認為畢竟這是砲德正式執教新堡的第一個賽季
而且開季後一直面對滿隊傷兵的問題，一步一步調整陣容
"I would have thought you will see his stamp on the team next season.
("砲德的功力會在下賽季表現出來")
"I have been impressed with a lot of the lads he already has in the squad
but hopefully he will bring in more players in the summer.

"It will be interesting because it will be down to his team but I have to
say in the year he has been in charge Glenn has done well given the
circumstances."
Newcastle, meanwhile, are set to hand a trial to Whitley Bay youngster Lee
Kerr.
The 20-year-old striker impressed against Newcastle's reserves and is set
to link up with The Magpies for a trial
