隨著港嘴運氣好到一路殺到足總盃決賽，老哈利也放話說他一點都不後悔
拒絕了喜鵲。
想必他一直的放話讓記者相當不爽。於是跟主席 Mort求證了一下。

asked in early February:
Q: Was Harry Redknapp offered the manager's job at Newcastle United?
A: NO. He was interviewed for the job but was only one of a number of people
we were speaking to at that time.
我猜這也是為什麼當初老哈利的事情爆出來後，後來就沒有任何主教練敢說自己
跟高層面試過了，高層在面試的時候應該是有交代過這些人不能說出來。
KK之前好像也有說過，老哈利也只是當初被面試中一群人的其中一個。
但一堆喜歡賭爛我們的國家性媒體跟報章雜誌，大概覺得寫成老哈利拒絕我們會比較爽。
老闆跟主席後來也是有強調，他們當初都只是試探性的詢問KK，因為KK給人的觀感
都是他不會再回到執教的工作上來了。
但他們還是想試試看，沒想到KK給了他們不錯的回應，於是KK要求要跟老闆當面談談，
當時老闆人在香港，所以才會等到老闆回英國談過以後才宣布KK回來執教。
