Wenger ponders Campbell decision

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could thrust Sol Campbell straight back into
action on Wednesday against PSV Eindhoven to help bolster his defence.

Campbell has been out since 24 October with a calf injury and Wenger
is debating whether to start with him.

"We decided to give Sol a hard session on Saturday and he responded
well to it," said Wenger.

"I felt that we needed a bit of reassurance at the back and he can
give that to us." \(╯▽╰)/


He added: "Ideally I would have waited a bit longer. I have not
decided to play him for sure, but if he's all right, I may play him."

The Gunners could only draw with West Brom last Saturday, but Wenger
feels his side will soon be back on top form.

"We have still lost just one game in 54 (in the Premiership) and last
week we won at Tottenham," he said.

"If I killed myself because of that people would not understand it.
But it is obvious we have to find our best again and all we can do is
keep working."

A win for Arsenal in Eindhoven would secure their place in the
knockout stages while a draw followed by victory over Rosenborg in
their final group match would also take them through.
